What People Are Saying
"My 15-year-old went from watching YouTube all day to building actual AI projects. After the AI Builders cohort, he built a study planner app for his school — his teachers couldn't believe a student made it. Blend gave him real skills and the confidence to use them. Worth every penny."
Nadia Padayachy
Parent
AI Builders Cohort
"I was sceptical that AI would be relevant to my day-to-day work, but Blend completely changed my perspective. They showed me practical ways to use AI for project management and reporting that saved me hours every week. The coaching was tailored to what I actually needed, not some generic course."
Damith Rajakaruna
Business Manager
House of Commons
"Working with Blend opened up a whole new dimension in my design process. They didn't just show me AI tools — they helped me think about where they fit into creative workflows without replacing the human judgment that matters. I'm producing better work in less time now."
Joseph Shaffery
Head of Design
Design Council
"I signed my son up because he kept saying he wanted to 'work in tech' but had no idea where to start. Six weeks later he's prototyping apps, writing prompts like a pro, and talking about starting a side project with his friends. Blend didn't just teach him AI — they lit a fire."

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer scholarships or financial aid?
Yes. We offer need-based scholarships covering 50-100% of the cohort fee. When you apply, simply indicate you'd like to be considered for financial aid. We'll have a brief conversation about your situation—no complicated forms required. Cost should never stop a motivated child from learning AI.
What exactly does the $799 include? How is this different from online courses?
You get 12 live 90-minute sessions with an expert instructor, plus weekly feedback on your child's actual project. Most online courses are pre-recorded videos where you're on your own. We're different: live instruction, small cohorts (max 6 students), and we measure your child's progress every week. That accountability matters.
Why should I choose Blend over other AI programs for kids?
Blend's curriculum is designed by Tom Payani, who's led AI education programs for schools. Your instructor isn't a generalist—they're an AI practitioner who's built real products. We focus on teaching thinking, not just tools. Small cohorts (max 6 students) mean we catch struggles early and adapt to each learner. We measure outcomes because we're accountable for results.
What if my child falls behind?
With just 6 students per cohort, we catch struggles immediately—not months later. You'll get weekly progress reports, and if your child needs extra support, we offer optional 1:1 office hours with their instructor. We don't move on until everyone's confident. That's what 'staying and measuring' means.
Does my child need coding experience?
No. We teach AI tool use and prompt engineering—not programming from scratch. If your child can type and think critically, they're ready. Prior coding experience helps but isn't required. Many of our students are learning both AI and basic coding skills together.
Who are the instructors? What are their qualifications?
Our instructors are vetted AI practitioners—not career trainers. They've built real products and understand what it takes to ship something. All instructors are DBS-checked and experienced teaching young people. When your child learns from someone who's actually built AI products, not just studied them, it changes everything.
Will my child actually learn or just use AI?
We teach understanding first, tools second. Your child learns why AI works, then builds real products that prove they understand it. They don't just use ChatGPT—they learn to think about prompts, iterate on feedback, and solve actual problems. The project they ship is their proof of learning.
What will my child actually build?
Your child builds a portfolio of projects across multiple domains—not just one. Weeks 1-3: Master Claude Code and ship first 3 projects. Weeks 4-10: Build across domains—websites (1 session each), chatbots (1-2 sessions), apps (2-3 sessions), SaaS products (3-4 sessions), automations. By Demo Day, students have a portfolio of deployed projects proving technical versatility. What they build depends on their interests and age—younger students might build more simpler projects, older students can go deep on complex SaaS or build breadth across domains.
Do all students finish the program?
100% completion rate. Small class sizes and weekly accountability mean we catch obstacles early. If a student struggles, we adapt support—offering 1:1 office hours or adjusting project complexity. We don't let students quit. Your child will graduate with a portfolio of finished, deployed projects.
What AI tools will students use?
Primarily Claude Code—the professional-grade AI development tool used by software engineers to build real products. Students also use ChatGPT, DALL-E, and other AI platforms as needed for their projects. We teach the same tools professionals use, not simplified versions. All tools are supervised and age-appropriate. The tools may evolve, but the problem-solving skills your child learns are timeless.
Is it safe for my child to use AI tools?
Yes. All AI interactions happen in instructor-supervised sessions using Claude Code, which has built-in content safety filters from Anthropic. Students never have unsupervised access to AI chat or open internet browsing. Projects are pre-scoped by instructors, and we have clear boundaries—no violent, adult, or inappropriate content generation. All instructors are DBS-checked and trained in online child safety. We follow UNICEF's 2025 guidance on AI and children.
What data does my child share with AI systems?
We're GDPR-compliant and take data privacy seriously. Students don't share personal information with AI systems—they work on projects using fictional data or public information. We don't create student accounts on external platforms without explicit parental consent. Student data is never shared, sold, or used for AI training. All communications are encrypted, and we follow the same data protection standards as schools and educational institutions.
Can I monitor what my child builds?
Absolutely. You'll receive weekly email progress reports detailing what your child built each session. Parents can request to review all project code and outputs anytime. VIP families get 3 scheduled parent progress calls (weeks 1, 6, 12) and can request session recordings. If you ever have concerns, you can contact the instructor directly. We believe transparency builds trust—you should always know what your child is learning and building.
What if my child tries to generate inappropriate content?
Multiple safeguards prevent this. First, Claude Code has built-in content filters that block inappropriate requests. Second, all sessions are instructor-supervised—students are never alone with AI tools. Third, we pre-scope projects so students work within defined boundaries. If a student attempts something inappropriate, the instructor addresses it immediately and we notify parents. In 3 years of running cohorts, we've never had a serious incident because our layered approach catches issues before they become problems.
What happens after the 12 weeks?
Your child graduates with a portfolio website showcasing all their projects, a certificate, and Demo Day footage. Many students use their portfolio for college applications or resumes—it proves technical versatility across websites, chatbots, apps, and more. VIP students also get college application positioning guidance. We offer post-cohort 1:1 AI tutoring if they want to keep building.
